Puma Complete Velosis 2
The Puma Complete Velosis 2 is an armored tank for bigger runners with heavier, more hard-hitting steps. It is the second installment of itself, and features a few minor improvements that surprised runners wearing it predecessors.
The main feature of the Puma Complete Velosis 2 is its sturdiness and stability, designed to give bigger runners, as well as orthotic users, a durable impact support at a higher intensity level. There is a large amount of heel cushioning on the Velosis 2, as well as a plush sock liner which is new to the Velosis 2, making for a relatively smooth ride for its size and weight. Puma also decoupled the heel of this shoe for a better lay down than its predecessor. The shoe is on the heavy side, at 13 oz. for men and 10.9 oz. for women.
Users and testers of the Puma Complete Velosis 2 weren’t too thrilled at the improvements the shoe featured over the Velosis 1, as they caused the shoe to become heavier and more inflexible. It didn’t come off as a clunky ride, however, as testers were impressed with the amount of support the Velosis 2 would give to runners with heavier bodyweights and consequently harder hitting steps. The shoe’s thick midsole provided good impact protection, causing it to ride surprisingly smooth for runners expecting it not to after feeling the weight of the shoe on their feet.
The Puma Complete Velosis 2 is on the higher end of the pricing spectrum, with a retail tag of $125.

In conclusion, the Puma Complete Velosis 2 knows it’s a heavyweight shoe, but as such, makes the most of doing what it needs to do: accommodating runners with heavier bodyweights and harder hitting steps, as well as orthotic users, with an excellent amount of stability and support, while retaining a smooth ride for its size. Recommended for bigger runners and the orthotic users seeking a stable cushioned ride.
